A2 Art Final piece pictures.

Make-up based final piece.
The pictures depict different fairytales, either based on their original stories, a story from a show or my own view.

The first being Sleeping beauty, she was raped, so my character a black eye, and a bloody lip.

The second being little red riding hood as the wolf. Here i have painting my face like a wolf and photoshopped myself into a background.

The last is The little mermaid, showing her in the water, and not being married to the prince as she has rejected his proposal, showing that women have rights to say no.

A2 TEXTILES

Models: Amy Robertson and Adam Neale.
This piece is all about the flower petal jacket that amy is wearing. The photographs are meant to portray a style of memento mori and a heavy sign of death through Amy and the jacket.

My Flower Petal Tights- Week One.

This is my Bodystocking. I created it for my A2 Textiles. It has a range of fake flowers over it to cover certain parts of the body. These are the pictures I took for my portfolio and sketchbook.

A2 Art-

I dressed up as Maleficent from Sleeping beauty. My makeup involves a face which is covered in green eyeshadow, tonal purple eyeshadow, red lipstick and black face paint to emphasise the eyebrows.

I made the horned headpiece out of modroc, wire, paint and sharpie pen; and I also made the black and purple cloak. The cloak was made out of black and purple velvet velour, wire and thread. I created a wire collar piece and then sewed over it to create the cloak.

For my A2 Art I dressed up as the Hag from Snow White to portray a character in which is not always thought about.
I created the nose out of modroc, wire and paint and stuck it on with rolled over cellotape ha. The cloak and actual outfit was improvision from normal clothing and fabric.
I chose to use a red apple in my image as snow white eats a red apple and I photoshopped myself into a wooded area to make it look more real.
